BIO
Torrey is the former Global Lead for Organizational Culture, Strategy, and Performance Team at The Mental Wellness Society. With 12 years of experience in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (IOP) and Human Resources across various sectors including manufacturing, higher education, K-12, and the (US) federal government (DOE nuclear energy), he brings a wealth of knowledge to the field of business strategy consulting.
He holds a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with an emphasis on consulting and is currently writing his dissertation to earn his Ph.D. in the same field.
Torrey specializes in integrating organizational strategy with mission and vision through effective data storytelling. His consulting initiatives have not only saved $480K in medical and prescription costs for an employer wellbeing program at a DOE nuclear site but also led to the development of a best-in-class employer wellbeing program for South Carolina in 2020.
Renowned for facilitating effective solutions, Torrey helps restructure organizations and develop tailored employer wellbeing programs, aligns training and development initiatives with organizational goals, aids in resume development, and provides coaching to students and professionals.
In addition, Torrey serves as an adjunct professor at Purdue University Global, where he teaches courses on leadership and organizational assessment. He also engages globally in strategic planning services, supporting B2B initiatives focused on mental wellness, workplace motivation, executive coaching, stress management, anxiety, employer wellbeing programs, and enhancing organizational structures with mental wellness concepts.
