Torrey is the former Global Lead for Organizational Culture, Strategy, and Performance Team of The Mental Wellness Society. He has 12 years' experience in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (IOP) and Human Resources, in manufacturing, higher education, K-12, and (US) federal government (DOE nuclear energy).

He holds a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with an emphasis on consulting. Also, he is currently writing his dissertation to earn his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Torrey focuses on strategically aligning organizations’ initiatives with their mission and vision through data storytelling. His consulting work resulted in $480K savings in medical and prescription spend for an employer wellbeing program (DOE nuclear site) and led his employer to a best-in-class employer wellbeing program for the state of South Carolina (DOE nuclear site) in 2020.

He is known for facilitating effective and efficient solutions that help restructure organizations, develop employer wellbeing programs, align training and development programs with organizational goals, resume development, and coaching students and professionals.

Additionally, Torrey is an adjunct professor with Purdue University Global, where he facilitates leadership and organizational assessment courses. He works globally supporting B2B initiatives related to mental wellness, workplace motivation, executive coaching, stress management, anxiety, employer wellbeing programs, and organizational structures utilizing mental wellness concepts.
